eTutor is the application based on a series of games and activities such as matching pairs, hangman, crosswords and more. What, however, slightly differentiates eTutora from similar applications is the extensive phrasebook system that you will not find in other colorful applications in vain. So we learn not only words and phrases, but also practice them later, also in more or less complicated dialogues. What's more: when acquiring new words / phrases, the application, apart from a simple translation, will teach us when we use such and no other expression, so it also puts emphasis on learning the culture of the country whose language we are currently learning. eTutor has two courses built in: English and German. Getting to know the next words / phrases, just like in the case of learning from flashcards, we decide whether we know the element and skip it for further learning, or think that we need to add it to repetitions. The thematic lesson will then test the words we have chosen, asking us to enter them or select a picture by listening. In addition to regular learning, we will also find a lot of fun like hangman (games naturally use words and phrases that we have already learned, or those in the course of which we are learning). This is definitely an application for people who like minimalism without flashy animations. Unfortunately eTutor is not free. To fully enjoy the eTutor offer, you must purchase the courses we selected.
